Biting my nails
I sucked it up and submitted a short story to a magazine on Saturday. The response time is supposed to be 2-4 weeks. I am fairly certain it will be rejected.
A resolution:
I will not check the email account from which I submitted it more than once per day. I will get to work on the next thing and move on with my other writing in the meantime.
No, really, I mean it. No more than once per day.
