		<description>It&#039;s something that would have gone into &quot;Dimmed,&quot; while Bricu was working nearly full-time for the Scryers.  They were both still pretty shaken from the summer&#039;s events and (in classic Bittertongue fashion) had avoided talking about most of it.  

Setup was something like Threnn coming home and finding him there, asleep - which, at the time, was a rarity:

&quot;Didn&#039;t mean to wake you.&quot;

&quot;Bah,&quot; he said.  &quot;Yeh&#039;ve ruined me, love.  I don&#039;t sleep well when I&#039;m alone anymore.&quot;

&lt;i&gt;Don&#039;t sleep well when you &lt;/i&gt;aren&#039;t&lt;i&gt; alone, either,&lt;/i&gt; she thought.

But his eyes said &lt;i&gt;Don&#039;t,&lt;/i&gt; and so she didn&#039;t.

It&#039;s not perfect, the language needs tweaking, and I really don&#039;t know where I was going with the scene, but there it is.  I&#039;ve never tossed out the (much-folded, well-traveled) ATM slip because I still like it.</description>
